rooters was created from the rather pragmatic idea and need of some full-time scientists to also use their research for innovative, high-quality and, above all, sustainable solutions to modern problems.
The first project went to the root of the problem of the environmentally unfriendly leather tanning process, going completely “back to the roots” – rhubarb roots:
The innovative product rhubarb leather is a high-quality leather which is vegetable-tanned using substances found in the rhubarb root.
