When it comes to pop culture, Düsseldorf not only has its very own, truly remarkable and sweeping history – but also a current range of young, noticeable artists, experimental formats and interesting locations.

The platform www.popindus.de is an interactive online calendar that provides an up-to-date and well curated overview of the most relevant pop events, shows, parties and news in town.

To put the main focus on the content and at the same time guarantee best possible usability across all devices, we wanted the whole design of the page to be very clear, modern, intuitive and highly functional …

Online visuals for several pop-up concerts and shows featuring a diverse mix of local artists – initiated by ‘Pop in Dus’ during the temporary use of the ‘Alte Paketpost’ in the intermediate stage of the postPOST project …

‘Popkultur in Düsseldorf e.V.’ started as an affiliation of protagonists from Düsseldorf’s pop-cultural scene(s) with different backgrounds, emphases and know-how in various fields, such as music, production, event, design, film, photography and art.

Their main aim was and still is not only to document the past, the present and the future of pop culture in Düsseldorf – but also to install and establish an independent and sincere institution to shine a light on (and even improve) pop-related topics … That’s why we wanted the the overall appearance to be pretty minimalistic, low-key, concise, objective, classic, documental and timeless.
